Yarraville Community Centre is proud to announce its upcoming Winter Festival at BeatonĀ
Reserve between 11am and 3pm on Sunday, 4 June 2023. The festival, aims to promote inclusivity
and diversity, with a focus on accessibility for all.
The Winter Festival is funded by the Maribyrnong City Council and aims to celebrate the diversity
and vibrancy of the local community. There will be live music performances by local artists and a
range of food and beverage vendors on-site, offering a delicious array of winter treats and warm
drinks. There will also be plenty of activities to keep the children entertained throughout the day,
including a petting zoo, Princess on Skates, and face painting. The Trugo Club will also be offering
a chance for festival goers to test their skills at a unique Australian sport.
“We’re thrilled to be hosting the Winter Festival at Beaton Reserve,” said Chris McCall from
Yarraville Community Centre. “This event is a fantastic opportunity to bring our community
together and celebrate all that makes Yarraville such a vibrant and welcoming place to live. Our
aim for the festival is to provide a fun and inclusive event for the local community to enjoy, and
we hope to see a great turnout on the day.”
