Join us for an enriching experience where you will learn the fundamentals of cultivating mushrooms in a way that’s both environmentally friendly and economically viable.

This workshop offers unique and comprehensive, hands-on training.  It is designed to introduce you to the basics of mushroom cultivation using sustainable practices. During the workshop, you will gain theoretical knowledge and practical experience, learning to grow mushrooms using reusable plastic buckets.

About the tutor

Andrew McDougall’s passion for mushrooms began in childhood, sparked by foraging trips with his grandfather. Inspired by the documentary “Fantastic Fungi” and motivated by his health journey using medicinal mushrooms, Andrew established an urban mushroom farm with his family. His journey reflects a deep connection to nature, a commitment to sustainability, and a love of the culinary and health benefits of mushrooms.
