Step into the wonders of science with our “Science Adventure: Hands-On Discovery Day!” during National Science Week 2024!
This 2-hour workshop is designed for curious minds aged 6 – 11 years old and invites children to explore the thrilling world of science through interactive themed experiments including Plant Biology, Amazing Acid-based Reactions, Exploring Gravity, and Constructing Simple Circuits. Each activity is crafted to spark creativity and ignite a passion for learning.
The children will engage in practical activities for each theme, and will also create an amazing lava lamp and a personally assembled Play-Doh circuit to take home.
Join us for a day of exploration and fun – where every experiment is an adventure waiting to be discovered!
Light lunch will be provided after the session. Parents are welcome to stay during the session and have lunch together.

About the tutor
Miranda Lathouras is a registered teacher. She has forged a successful career as a secondary school visual arts educator with over 10 years of experience. Her ability to build rapport and client engagement helps to bring a sense of confidence and self-belief in her students. Miranda’s non-judgemental and supportive nature makes for an amazing tutor.
