Course summary

Join us for a transformative 6-week Nutrition Education & Skills Training (NEST) session being delivered by OzHarvest!

Through OzHarvest’s NEST program, you will learn healthy eating and cooking skills to help you make lasting changes for better health, and gain valuable knowledge on various aspects of nutrition, such as storing food safely, understanding food labels, planning nutritious meals, and minimising food waste.  Moreover, you learn to cook easy, healthy recipes that taste great!

Each session spans 2.5 hours and encompasses a blend of nutrition activities, group cooking lessons, and the joy of sharing a meal together.

Whether you’re looking to improve your own well-being or help others lead healthier lives, this program is your gateway to a nourished future.

This course is designed for adults over 18.
Vegan options are available upon request.

What you need to bring

  • wear flat closed-toe shoes
  • no loose clothing
  • tie your hair back if applicable

  • Arrive 10 – 15 minutes early to each session to sign in.

  • This class is offered free of charge, however, enrolment requires a commitment to attend regularly for the duration of six weeks.
