This workshop will help you take beautiful photos every time and present them to family, friends, and the public impressively and professionally.
In this fun and hands-on workshop, you’ll learn lots of tips and tricks to improve your smartphone photography. Hands-on challenges to put theory into practice. From the basic principles of image composition and technique to photo editing apps, Angela will show you everything you need to know to capture and edit stunning photos as well as the technical aspects of photography.
For beginners and those wanting a refresher class.
What you will learn
- camera set up within your smartphone
- control your aperture, exposure and filter
- composition, visual gateway and stories
- experiment with different genres – portraits, architecture, still life, abstract and landscapes
- how to edit easily with your phone inbuilt features and achieve beautiful images
- how to use free editing software – Snapseed to enhance your images for posting on Facebook and Instagram
- how to organise your images in camera photo album

About the tutor
Angela Mamalis has a background working in the arts, health and wellbeing, and education sectors. Angela’s passion for photography stems back many decades. She is a strong advocate of lifelong learning. She has completed many formal and informal photography courses and workshops, and continuously seeks out online courses, podcasts, and photography groups she can hang out with. She loves learning and sharing all things photography. Her role will be one of facilitation, encouragement, and support.
