Whether it’s assisting you to stay connected, providing free nourishing meals or help to access financial support, we are here to lend a hand. The services we offer to our community, especially during lockdown, is our priority and that’s why we are diversifying our services to meet your needs and to help our community get through this pandemic together.

  • Free Meals – The Nourish Project Food Relief Program

    Every week our dedicated chefs and volunteers are working diligently cooking over 250 meals each week for our food relief program

  • Free Online Gozleme Cooking Class for Adults and Children

    Looking for something fun to do with your children during lockdown? Join this FREE interactive online class to learn how to make gozleme, a traditional savoury Turkish flatbread.

  • FREE Online Lepinja: Balkan Flatbread Class

    This interactive online class will teach  you to make lepinja, a bread in the family of yeast-leavened round flat breads. It’s soft bubbly texture, and chewy pull will have you hooked. If you love ciabatta bread and middle eastern flatbread varieties, you will love this!

  • Yarraville Community Centre’s Chatty Café – Connect with others in your community

    Yarraville Community centre is proud to welcome Chatty Café! Please join us and connect with others in your community for our very first Chatty Cafe Session.

    During the Chatty Cafe Session, our community will come together to talk and connect in a safe and friendly space while they drink a cuppa and enjoy a conversation.  Adults from all walks of life,  diverse backgrounds and cultures are warmly welcomed. This group chat will run for an hour but you can join for whatever time you are comfortable with.  This a free weekly group for our community.

    Due to lockdown we are launching online.  Join us for a relaxed chat Wednesday 6th October at 10am via Zoom.
