Wednesday was the launch of the Family Learning Project delivered in partnership with Skilling Employment & Aid Enterprises Australia. This project will provide English language and sewing and cooking for women planning to look for work in these areas in the future. One class will be in Footscray and Tarneit both for 3 days a week (2 language and 1 sewing). The program was launched with a tie-dye (Gara) workshop presented by KONTIKI Artistic Fashion Design in Sunshine. There were a lot of women there and the workshop was followed by a delicious lunch.
