January School Holiday Program: Pizza Making & Sports-Themed Cap, Badge Design

Looking for some creative fun for your children during the school holidays?  Look no further!

In the morning, we offer a fun-filled, hands-on pizza making class that’s sure to be a hit with your children.  They will roll up their sleeves and create their own delicious pizzas from scratch. From kneading dough to selecting tasty toppings, each child will have fun crafting their personalised pizza. The best part? They will get to enjoy a freshly made pizza for lunch!

In the afternoon, we have an exciting Sport-themed cap & badge design class.  Your children will have the chance to show off their creativity and design their very own cap and badge featuring their favourite sports or teams.
Not a sports fan? No worries! They can create something that reflects their passions and hobbies.

9.30am – 12.30pm: Pizza Making & Lunch

Get ready for a hands-on adventure in the kitchen!
In our fun and interactive Pizza Making Class, your children will learn the proper skills to make pizzas from scratch including kneading their own dough and creating their own version of delicious pizzas with their choice of toppings. Every step is a chance to be creative and, of course, enjoy the tasty results! Perfect for young chefs looking to discover the magic of cooking, this class is filled with laughter, learning, and plenty of pizza to eat as lunch. Bring your appetite and your imagination – it’s going to be a deliciously fun time!

About the tutor

With a deep-rooted passion for food and a love for bringing people together, Kate Ngo is dedicated to teaching the art of cooking and baking in an interactive and fun way.Kate used to run a baking business for 7 years and specialised in Asian cooking, baking, and patisserie and very passionate about wholesome yet creative dishes that not only tantalise your tastebuds but also pleasing the eyes. Living with allergies herself, Kate’s recipes can be adapted to be allergy-friendly (such as gluten-free, nut-free, egg-free, soy-free, dairy-free, and vegan).

12.30pm – 3.30pm: Sports-themed Cap & Badge Design

Join us to make customised Sports themed badges for your cap!
Whether it’s soccer, basketball, AFL, or any sport you love,  this interactive activity allows the children to express their passion through fun designs and bold colours. With endless possibilities, from crafting unique logos to choosing their favourite shades, your children will create personalised gear that reflects their sporty style and individuality. It’s the perfect opportunity for young designers to unleash their creativity and walk away with one-of-a-kind, wearable pieces they will be proud to show off!

About the tutor

Annie Lillis is a multidisciplinary artist, working as a printmaker, painter, and textile artist. Her expressive and abstract creations offer a window into her inner world, reflecting the complexities of the human experience and the environment around her. Through her art, she uses the creative process as a powerful tool for exploration – a language that often transcends words. Each piece invites connection, sparking deep emotional responses and offering a unique, introspective journey.

  • Children will need to be picked up by 3.30pm sharp
